Hosted by the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, the Annual Meeting offers opportunities to fullfill CE obligations while learning the latest and greatest about the veterinarian profession. The Annual Meeting offers: Educational Opportunities

The MVMA Annual Meeting offers many opportunities to have Fun and network with friends and colleagues. Friday night is the Exhibitor and Volunteer Appreciation Event in the Hyatt Regency ballroom. This year we will have an exciting Casino Night! Come play the many games and bring your luck for chances to win valuable prizes.

Join us for a panel discussion about the Fairness to Pet Owners Act of 2011. Lobbyists from the AVMA, MVMA, and Banfield will share their views on this federal bill requiring mandatory written prescription. Come and listen and share your views on this important topic.

At Saturday's lunch come see the winning animals receive their outstanding companion, professional and hero awards. Temple Grandin will follow as our Keynote presenter speaking on Understanding Animal Behavior. Purchase one of her books for sale and have her autograph it at the lunch.

The Minnesota Veterinary Medical Foundation will have on display Silent Auction items that have been generously donated by veterinary friends and family. Browse the unique and valuable items and put an offer on something you like. All proceeds will go to the MVM Foundation.

With over 100 booths in the Exhibit Hall, it will be impossible not to find something new or different that you could use in your practice, clinic or laboratory. Attendees will have time to meet and greet with representatives from industry organizations, learn about new technology, find different ways to streamline everyday processes, and find up and coming companies for future partnerships.

The Convention is being held at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, located at 1300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403. A block of rooms has been reserved for the MVMA with a contracted rate of $99 if your reservation is made by January 23, 2012.
